Music therapy services are the ideal alternative therapy approach to help many of the individuals you get to serve to improve their quality of life through a variety of music interactions. During their session they will get to work with a board-certified music therapy to customize a treatment process to their specific strengths and care needs.

The NMTS Team
We have therapists that are specialized in music education for music lessons (all instruments), trauma informed therapy, neurologic music therapy, and more. Our team has a variety of specialties and certifications to work with all neurodevelopmental disabilities, special needs, physical impairments, visual impairments, hearing impairments, rare genetic disorders, mental health disorders, learning disabilities, and much more.

What to expect during their session:
Each session starts by working with a board-certified music therapist to determine current strengths and level of care needs. The music therapist will use a client-family centered approach throughout the entirety of the care process to provide the optimal individualized support for the type of service.
Funding
We are an approved provider through the Minnesota Department of Health and accept all state and county grants and waivers (i.e. CADI, DD, BI, CDCS, FSG, CSG, and more). Additionally we offer support for other alternative payments in the form of a health savings account and out of pocket. Music therapy is considered an out of network service for all medical health insurances.
